I’m Owen Kessels and I’m the founder of Reward Recycling™. For many years, governments have been trying to get people to recycle. We all know that recycling is the right thing to do, but doing it the right way takes a little bit of time. We believe that recycling should NOT go into landfill. And we can free your time to do it.

Imagine everyone from every house, in every street, in the city, all driving their 10 cent recycling in every few weeks for $5 to $10. That’s crazy. It’s messy. It’s wasteful. I thought there has to be a better way.

That’s why I came up with the idea of Reward Recycling™ – a way to reward you for recycling, provide an all-in-one free bin and free pickup service, and connect with you to help answer questions and make it easier to recycle from home. That way you know for sure what to do.

You can go totally free, or you can pay a $50 refundable bin deposit, no waiting, and this helps to get the bins out quicker. Plus, get a cash reward or choose to recycle that back to get more bins out.

Our mission is to free your time and reduce landfill. We provide 50 free bins with free pickup every month for people to recycle easier. We have a great system and provide awesome service because we listen to what you want and use your input to continuously improve. You are helping us save the planet.

While we are not a ‘non-profit’, we are not about money either, it’s not our DNA. Most revenue above running costs is turned back to get more bins out there to reduce landfill. You can be sure you are helping to save the planet through us. We are also creating new jobs for Australians. Machines cannot do what people do when they get personally responsible. This is a new way of thinking. Machines pick up, grab, smash and destroy then expect someone else to sort the mess out. China stopped doing that for us. So we have to think of a new way to be responsible for our waste.
